Your online resource for Walgreens deals

It appears that the mention of the Double Dip Days has piqued people’s interest, especially for those who are new to the Walgreens game.
Well, I’ve quickly whipped up a Pictorial 101 of the Walgreens Tools you need to make for a successful trip to Walgreens, not only for the DDD but for every shopping trip. I figured that visually seeing what an IVC is will be better than me actually describing it in words. As you can probably all tell, I’m a very visual person. Anyway…
Go to Walgreens 101 and get a crash course on everything Walgreens.
I hope this helps!

Here’s a quick lesson for those who’s not familiar with the Walgreens phenomena that are “Double Dip Days”. I’m the first to admit that I’m not very good at explaining things - so I may well butcher this and end up confusing you all. We’ll see…
What are “Double Dip Days”?
Double Dip Days are the two days when two EasySaver Catalogs overlap each other.
How are “Double Dip Days” made possible?
It just happens that Walgreens’ EasySaver Catalog ends on the last Saturday of the month. Meanwhile the following month’s EasySaver Catalog starts on the last Friday of the previous month. That’s where the overlap occurs.
When are the next “Double Dip Days”?
The upcoming one will fall on Friday, September 26th and Saturday, September 27th.
What’s so good about “Double Dip Days”?
What’s great about DDD is the simple fact that you can take advantage of the deals within the TWO overlapping EasySaver Catalogs.
For example, if there’s a September deal going on and there’s an IVC available within the October ESR Catalog, you can use that IVC and still have it count towards the September deal and vice versa.
Better yet, you can even (though this is YMMV) use an IVC from each month’s Catalog and get double the savings!
The deals also work with the rebates. If there’s an IVC coupon in one Catalog you can use for a rebate for another month’s Catalog, it is completely valid! It’s genius!!!
What if the EasySaver Catalog isn’t available at my store by the Friday/Saturday?
You can bring in a printed version of the IVC. It is likely that an electronic version of the EasySaver Catalog will be available in advance so you can print the IVC from there and you store should/may accept it. Again, it may be a YMMV situation. Otherwise, you can kindly ask a cashier if they have their Catalogs out back and if you can have one.
Okay, I think that’s the quick lesson. If you’ve been DDD-ing for a while, please share anything I might have missed/or gotten wrong. If you’re still at a loss, leave a comment and I’ll endeavor to explain it.

I’ve had quite a few readers comment/email me about the fact that either a) this is their first time doing a Register Reward deal, b) not sure what a Register Reward is or c) what exactly “the rules” are when it comes to getting/using a Register Reward. So this post is to give you a crash course on RRs.
I’m not a believer of re-inventing the wheel so I thought I would direct you to where I learned all about RRs and the correct ways of using it. And even troubleshooting when an RR doesn’t print. So head on over to HCW’s Catalina and Register Reward FAQ thread to learn all about RRs.
I have the highest regard for the Moderators at HCW who maintain the highest quality of information when it comes to RRs and Wags in general (as evident from the amount of times I quote them here!). So go on and learn from the best in the couponing/Wags business ![]()
If you have any further questions regarding RRs, you can ask me and I’ll endeavor to follow up with Wags myself!
Happy RR learning!
I was browsing the Walgreens website this morning and noticed the “Shopping List” feature. What is this feature? Basically, it enables you to flip through the online version of the weekly flyer and add items within the flyer to your very own shopping list. I decided to use it and took screencaps along the way.
Go to the Walgreens Weekly Ad and browse away. When you find something you like, click on the item and it will appear in this way:

Click on “Add to Shopping List” to include it to your online shopping list.
