Your online resource for Walgreens deals
You can find my scenarios over at my blog MOMS BY HEART.
How about you? I’d love to hear what you’re cooking up for this coupon too!

Step up, step up. Here’s your chance to tell the rest of us all the different excuses a Walgreens Manager/Cashier has given you for not being able to use a Register Reward or coupon towards an item. I’m sure we’ll all been given an excuse at one time or another.
Fortunately for me, the most I’ve been given is the dreaded “Sorry, this can’t be used for this item because it’s not pictured in the coupon” excuse. I didn’t press it any further. But can you imagine if Colgate/Crest/Kellogg’s/Kraft/Revlon had to picture EVERY SINGLE ITEM of theirs on a intsy bitsy coupon?
So go on, share your favorite(s) excuses so far by leaving a comment below.

This time next week I’ll be finalizing my luggages for my trip back home to Australia. I’m very excited - but at the same time I’m sad. No couponing for WEEKS!?!? How will I cope? I will suffer from couponing withdrawals, that’s for sure
I’ve decided that during my time away I will try to highlight the main differences between how us Aussies do grocery/drugstore shopping. I’m sure it’ll be an eye opening insight to you all to see all the differences on how things are done, where things are bought, the prices and even how some items are sold here but not in Australia. It’s going to be fun to highlight these things with you all.
So for today’s Saturday Chit-Chat, I’m curious to find out if there are any other FWTR readers out there who have lived overseas where couponing is not a common practice. Care to share the main differences between how things were done in the country you lived in? Are there any other countries besides the US that has implemented the couponing system?

For today’s Chit-Chat, I wanted to know whether you have a Coupon Buddy/Buddies? Do you have a family member or a friend who you share coupon deals with? Do you clip coupons together? Shop together? Share tearpad coupons? Share deal information? A person you share your couponing with.
My Coupon Buddy are: my husband Zach and my new friend, Kristin (who I actually met through this blog!). My husband was kind of a “forced” Coupon Buddy because he drove me all over town, from one Walgreens to the other. He’s a really awesome buddy - in one instance, one lazy Sunday evening on our way home from dinner, I suggested we go to the local grocery store to try to find some tearpads from one aisle to another. We did just that and found a tonne of tearpad coupons. As sad as it might sound, it was actually a LOT of fun! We haven’t done it again since but I think we’re due for another “Operation Tearpad” at our local Schnucks
As for Kristin, we have only shopped together once (last weekend, for the Double Dip Day). She was there to lend me an Almay $1/1 coupon since I forgot mine at home. Plus it helped me to just bounce scenario ideas off her and not to mention, it was awesome to have somebody there to back me up with the Manager.
So, do you shop with another couponer? Do you prefer not to shop with another couponer? Share with today’s chit-chat!
