Your online resource for Walgreens deals

Only FOUR more sleeps before I take my close-to-24-hours flight to my home country of….AUSTRALIA!
For those who just recently stumbled upon this blog here’s a quick rundown: I’m an Aussie, migrated to the US earlier this year and now I’m going back home to visit family, friends and enjoy Christmas and become a Godmother to my beautiful baby niece (my first niece EVER too, so she’s uber special to me). All up, I’ll actually be in Australia for 2 glorious months - basking in the sun (because it’s Summer there right now) and just laying about just like the little koala up above
NOT! I’ll be busy, I am sure of it.
While I am overseas, Lori from Moms By Heart and my Coupon Buddy Kristin has kindly volunteered to mind the FWTR fort. Lori does a weekly roundup of all the great Walgreens deals not to be missed so she will be alerting you all to head on over to her blog once that is up. Kristin will also contribute by alerting you when an unadvertised deal comes up. Both ladies are accomplished couponers and I am sure they will keep you updated on all things Walgreens. So please give Lori and Kristin a warm welcome to FWTR!
I won’t be too far away either. The only limiting factor will be the time-zone difference. Adelaide, South Australia (my hometown) is 16.5 hours IN FRONT. So basically, when it’s morning in Missouri it’s night time in Adelaide and vice versa. But don’t worry, that won’t stop me from checking in and reporting back. Even though I’ve only been living my American-life for a mere 9 months, I have grown accustomed to it so I’m certain getting back into the Australian groove will take a good while. I guess that will make me realize the differences between the two countries even more. Oh, it’ll be fun!
Alright, well I better get back to packing. And yes, I’m bringing a lot of my Walgreens loot down to the Southern Hemisphere ![]()

Thanks, Dani & Tracie! I’m very lucky to have readers like you guys
So excited for you! I love the koala pic:-)
By the way–being an aunt is SO much fun. Have a great time spoiling your little niece.
have a wonderful trip. I’m glad you found someone to blog-sit, I was starting to panic! I’ve become addicted to your blog:)
one question- do you have someone buying newspapers for you while you’re gone? One weekend we went out of town and I never got one(i usually buy 2 or 3) and felt lost for a month.
will miss you!
I’ll be picking up papers for her when both she and her husband are gone. Otherwise she is trusting him to do it.
@Mama Koala: I love koalas. They’re adorably cute - but also quite fierce. And YES! I’m really looking forward to meeting my niece for the very first time - I like to spoil little kids so she’ll be getting a healthy does of that.
@Jamie: Thanks! Lori and Kristin will keep everybody updated on the latest/greatest deals and I’m sure they’ll bring their very own brand of blogging.
@Kristin: Thanks, Kristin - for buying our papers for us! The in-laws come back 2 weeks before us but I trust you more
Oh, and Zach won’t be going out to buy the paper, he’s trusting the St. Louis Dispatch to deliver it for him.
