I pulled this one up before the $5/$20 came out, so it doesn’t include that:
http://mypreciouspennies.blogspot.com/2008/10/walgreens-double-dip-days-slim-pickings.html
My total ends up being $33, so I’m going to look for another $7 of deal-ish stuff to get so I can do 2 transaction and get a total of $10 off.
Or I’ll be lazy and just do one transaction, pay $28, and get $42 back via RRs & rebates (if they all go through).

Still working on my scenarios, but have couple of quick questions:
1. is it true that you can’t submit the same receipt for both Oct & Nov rebates (for example - having the Nivea for Men and Almay on the same receipt)?
2. was the st.ives RR deal in this week’s ad? I’m not seeing it and want to make sure it’s available before i pursue it.
Thanks!

@Jana:
1. I have used the one receipt for 2 different months before and it was accepted. But I do my rebates online - if you’re doing it via mail, I’m not 100% sure. Will you be doing it online?
2. The St. Ives wasn’t in the ad at all but it was confirmed in this thread @ HCW (and a few FWTR readers have bought it with success).
But I know what you mean, if it doesn’t print you don’t really have anything to say to the cashier to prove an RR should have printed. I’d be wary of that too. But if there are tags on the St. Ives shelf, then you can use that as proof. Good luck!
@Patricia
Thanks. I always do my rebates online; just read that about the receipts somewhere and just wanted to check.

Where is the RR for the Oral B Cross Action? Is that this weeks ad? I missed that one….
@Ana M: The Oral B toothbrush has been going for the past few weeks (started Sept. 28th). I can’t confirm when it ends - can anyone? Maybe at the end of the month? Don’t quote me on that though…
@Patricia & Ana M: I saw somewhere tonight (don’t remember where b/c I’ve visited so many sites) that the Oral-B RR goes through 10/26; not sure how accurate that is.
Okay, I think this is where I’ve settled on my scenarios…
Scenario 1:
Nivea for Men $4.99-$1 ManQ = $3.99
Halloween candy 4/$10 - $3 ManQ = $7.00
Benefiber sticks $25.47 (3x$8.49)-$15 IVC-$6 ManQ = $4.47
Oral-B toothbrush $4.49
candy bar $0.33
Total = $20.28-$5/$20 = $15.28
RR - $12.50 ($8 for Benefiber, $4.50 Oral-B)
Rebates - $8.99 ($4.99 Nivea, $4.00 candy)
I’ll run into a bit of an issue if the Benefiber is $7.99 instead of $8.49 (I’ve seen it different prices at different places, so I went with the higher number) and will have to throw in another $1.50 in filler.
Scenario 2:
Theraflu $14.97 (3x$4.99)-$4 ManQ = $10.97
Scotch tape $3.98 (2x$1.99 w/ad coup) = $3.98
St. Ives $4.99-$2 IP = $2.99
Neutra Air $5.99-$4 ManQ = $1.99
candy bar $0.33
Total = $20.26-$5/$20 = $15.26
RR - $13 ($8 Theraflu, $5 St. Ives)
Rebates - $5 ($2 tape, $3 Neutra Air)
Total OOP = $30.54
Total RR & Rebates = $39.47 (plus $2.99 Theraflu MIR from paper)
Hope I can find everything!

@Jana: Thanks for sharing the date for the Oral-B. And your great scenarios too - well thought out (and I agree, it’s way too late to be working out Math!)
So the Oral B is just a RR that carried over from an ad 4 weeks ago? So if the RR doesn’t print you’re outta luck…
Hey There!
That was exhausting today for some reason. I just worked up my scenario and posted it here:

It is so long I figured I would just put a link. Hopefully I have not made an error, and hopefully they have everything. I need to get going
Thanks - Kitty

One caveat in your first transaction, Sydni, is that you won’t get RRs for both fusions in one transaction. To get RRs for each, you’d have to put them on seperate orders.
Does anyone know where I can find a couple benefiber coupons? I was also wondering if I would be able to use the $2.00 L’Oreal (redeemable only at walgreens) for the RevitaLift Anti-Rinkle cream and then use a $1.00 MFC for the (Free) L’Oreal Advanced RevitaLift or Nightcream? Thanks!
@Christine: I couldn’t find any printable Benefiber Q’s. Sorry.
As for the L’Oreal Wags Q, if it says Skincare or Moisturizer, you should be able to. I’ve already used that Q so I can’t recall what it says exactly. From memory one of them even has the Cream as the photo example.
And you should also be able to use another Q for the FREE cream to lower your OOP. But this may depend on your store - they may not allow it (if they pick it up) since you’re getting it for FREE. It depends on the cashier/store you get. My store generally allows it.
I tried to use one receipt for Sept/Oct and it wouldn’t work. I called the Wags Rebate Cnt and they told me I needed to return the items and have them rerung on seperate receipts. I do my rebates online. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the info. Kristin. I updated my transactions to reflect that. My actual shopping trip turned out differently than my planned scenarios anyway. I am still pretty bad at math and get so nervous at the register!
