Greetings from the road! My husband and I went on an impromptu road trip so this will have to be a quick update.

Also, if you haven’t picked up your newspaper be sure you do! I always find that the P&G insert is the best one that gives the FREE items at Wags when it comes to hair care and other beauty products.

This post is mainly for those who use a feed to read this blog. Please ignore POINT NUMBER 3 of my previous post. I shouldn’t have posted before I had fully woken up from slumber.

The Polaroid deal is as follows: you can earn up to $80 of rebates if you buy each of the Polaroid cameras. Here are photos of the i534 and i737 (though your Wags may carry different colors):

If you intend to buy both of them, it would be worthwhile buying them separately and therefore using a $10/$40 coupon each time (providing your Walgreens will allow you to do so that is, so maybe bring your other half, friend, etc so they can do the deal for you if you think your Wags is strict).

Just a few things for today:

1. Tomorrow’s newspapers will only include a P&G coupon insert. To check which newspapers in your area will include the insert, visit the P&G website. Also, TaylorTown has got a preview of what will be included so use your judgment on whether you want to get more than one newspaper.
2. Today (August 30th) is the last day to get your August FAR items. If you are doing the mail-in rebate method, make sure you don’t mix your August and September rebates on the same receipt! Since you have to send in your receipts, make sure you keep them in separate transactions. As far as the online method, I have read on forums that people have had issues when they put multiple months in one receipt - the online submission seems to have an issue with this also. But others have had no problems. In the event that you encounter any problems, just call Walgreens EasySaver Customer Service and explain the situation.
3. I want to clarify something regarding the Polaroid Rebate deal I posted about last night. You only need to purchase ONE camera to qualify for the rebate. So pick either the i534 or i737. You can most certainly buy both (and multiples of both) but Walgreens will only give you a $40 rebate. I just re-read the rebate book and you can actually BUY ONE OF EACH and you will receive an $80 rebate all up. So buy both if you want. But just one of each.
4. I will endeavor to present a step-by-step guide on how to do an Online Rebate Submission for Walgreens newbies. I was doing screencaps last night as I entered my first receipt but the Walgreens website froze on me (this happens because so many people are entering their receipts on the last few days of the month). So stay tuned for that!
5. The August 31st to September 6th Weekly Flyer will be in effect from tomorrow.

This one is for any who needs/want a new digital camera or if you’re looking for a great Birthday/Christmas gift. The stealthy members @ HCW have reported that the Polaroid i534 and Polaroid i737 are currently on sale at Wags for $59.99 and $65.99, respectively.

What makes this a good deal? Well, both cameras are included in the August 2008 EasySaver Catalog with a $40 rebate (refer to Page 71 of the August ESR Catalog). Use the $10/$40 coupon and you’ll save even more!

Just a few pointers: it pays to double check that your Wags has it on sale (it retails for over $120 normally). Ask a cashier to do a price check to be sure. And a more important tip: make sure you pick up the correct one!

Unfortunately, I’ve already submitted my August rebates so I can’t do this deal. For this price, it’s a great deal for a 5MP or 7MP camera! Get it if you can!
